New website is up....but you may not be able to find it!

Due to circumstances beyond my control, I have had to change my website domain from a .ca to .com.  So, new site is www.suemcnenly.com.  It will be about 2 months before I can redirect the old one.  I am beyond frustrated, but have exhausted all efforts to get my registrar to help fix a mistake that they initiated.  It is what it is.

This also affects the e-mail account printed on my business cards and labels.  Please contact me via the Ask tab on my new site to get in touch.

I apologize for the inconvenience.

Important Update

My website is currently offline for a couple of days.  I'm switching hosts, etc, and it has been a bit of a nightmare.  The new one is ready to go, as soon as the support people can figure this all out.  Stay tuned....    Also, the e-mail address on my site is no longer valid.  Please contact me at suemcnenly@gmail.com if you should require anything.

Thx all

Ta da!

My showstopper piece is off to the framer.  It is difficult to take pics that do it justice, especially when not yet framed, so I've just placed it in my photo tent and taken little snippets.  The piece is called 'Sleepless'.  Price $1450.  Framed at 9"x 21", custom maple frame.

Fences are fused argentium silver.

The little hook and rope is fused in 3 places.

Showstopper...

I've been working on a labour of love...I wanted to create a large piece for the upcoming One of a Kind Show and it has been coming together like magic.  Magic....about 50 hours in the making:).  Come see it at the show.  Remember, I'm only there for the first 5 days, booth O-19.

Here's a sneak peak of one of the components...

They're ready for their closeup

I am beside myself. For the longest time I've been trying to find the perfect home for my tiny, needle felted and silver sheep.  Ta da!  The bases are walnut, made to my own specs and design.  I'm frantically putting 6 of them together for my upcoming show in Picton, and, after gauging interest, I will be creating many more.  I snapped these pics quickly this morn, so I'll be sure to take some more as I create them.  The bases are also available in different shapes.  They will be offered in the $200 - $300 range, depending on number of sheep, etc.  I'll figure that out shortly.

Getting there...

I've been working 'round the clock figuring out a new, non framed, home for my precious sheep.   I'm still a long way off, but getting somewhere.  This wood is temporary, for experimental purposes.  In order to get the slices that I want, I have to wait till winter to cut them, then treat them to preserve the cell structure to minimize the effects of drying.  And that's just the wood.........

When I've figured out the fencing design that makes me the happiest, gardens and flourishes will be added.  There is also another marjor architectural detail coming, but I'll wait a bit on that.  I don't think this idea will be fully realized in time for my November shows,  there is so much to do to perfect them, but who knows.

Stay tuned.....
