I had a wonderful show this weekend. I thank everyone who stopped by my booth from the bottom of my heart. The people who respond to my work tend to be lighthearted, fun types, and it is always a pleasure to meet them. A special thanks (although she'll never know because she told me she has nothing to do with computers:)) to the lovely woman who came racing back as I was closing up to order a special vignette to be shipped to her new grand baby in Scotland, and to the woman who drove 1 hour back to the show to buy a present for her granddaughter because she 'had a sleepless night fretting over the fact that she hadn't purchased it the day before':) I am so honoured every time someone choses my art.
My new birdhouse pendants were a hit, and will definitely be around for a while. I was pleased with my booth, and, as usual, had GREAT neighbours. My friend Just Jill was beside me, and she also experienced grand success with her beautiful 'Hand made love for little ones'.

ReplyDeleteLoved that people came back to buy after sleeping on it. I had an "almost" customer who came back 3x, but talked herself out of the purchast... Sigh.m
