The box was snuggled all safe in it's bed (kiln).......

while visions of defective thermocouplers were NOT dancing in it's head!!! Ahhhhhhhhh!!!

My kiln has loved me and served me well for over 5 years, so I should't be all that surprised. Off to discover how best to get this dealt with.....

  1. Oh I hope you can replace it and not have to buy a whole new kiln! Good luck!

  2. Try this: Unplug it, vacuum it all out, clean the sensors with a dry tissue or cotton ball, plug it back in a try it again. My kiln does a similar thing occasionally.
